I am looking to buy some new christmas lights for outdoor use. Maybe some isicle lights or something. I just want to know what to look for when purchasing the lights. I have had way too many experiences with the lights burning out or not working after one season. What are the best lights to get and where can I find them? Does anyone have any that they had good experiences with first hand? Thanks in advance . Merry Christmas!

I’ve hung Christmas lights around my roof with the plastic holders but how can I hang them on the outside of windows without using lots of nails? I rent so I’m not sure that my landlord would appreciate that…
Will duck tape take off the paint when I try to remove it? I live in Southern New Mexico so it doesn’t get cold here. I’m also afraid that it may make the tape residue tacky and it might not come off all the way???

I put up the Christmas Holly / Garland with tiny framing nails however last night we had major winds and its all been blown onto the front lawn. Because the house has a stucco finish I am hesitant to go with larger nails as I fear I will damage it. I have considered duct tape, but given the wind we had last night — I doubt that would have worked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated — Merry Christmas!

I know it’s a bit early, but I wanted to know some good decorating ideas to make my room look extra special this year. All I have so far is a mini Christmas tree with lights, garland, and ornaments.
